Chinese Fab Venture Pushes Back Ramp
When Chinese foundry vendors Grace Semiconductor Manufacturing Corp. and Shanghai Hua Hong NEC Electronics Co. began construction last year on a 300-mm wafer fab at Shanghai’s Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park, a merger between the parent companies was reportedly part of the plan.
