Analyst: Samsung Eyes Foundry Biz With Logic Move

An industry analyst says Samsung is in the process of shifting some of its memory production to logic as part of its overall strategy to become a player in the foundry business. Garter's Andrew Norwood says the move is likely related to Samsung's role in producing the A6 processor, a key component in the Apple iPhone and iPad.
