The new AMD has plenty of passion and experience, as well as a reasonable strategy around SoCs. But it’s unclear whether those factors can propel it forward.

If any company holds technology without using it successfully like AMD holds Radeon graphics and its TV SoICs, that technology can go stale, obsolete. Innovative people move on, get bored. Value once invested simply evaporates.

Nowhere is it truer to say 'Use it or Lose it'.
