It is vary much required factor at the data-centers if something can reduce the power consumption and as the servers are getting built with increasing no of cores the power consumption is also increasing drastically, the researches are at its peak to reduce the power by dynamically switching off the unused cores, but if the giants take a dip into it, the activity will be surely getting boosted a lot.
